I love to ride my bike. Sometimes, my wife and I go on long bike rides, but only when it's warm. I love to ride to the grocery store, the library, or just for exercise. I have a bright green bike named florence. She is made by Globe Bicycles and is lime green. I chose a lime green bike because it's one of my favorite colors. It's called a fixie because the back wheel doesn't roll freely. It continues to spin the pedals while its rolling.
I also love to go to thrift stores with my wife. It is addicting to find very expensive things at low prices. We are picky about what we buy, but I have been able to find some great things. I have found several manual-focus camera lenses. I have been lucky to find great clothing and shoes as well. We go about once a week and will always hit up thrift stores in the cities we visit. We have done so in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Rexburg, Coeur d' Alene, England, Park City, Boise, Jackson Hole, and even Idaho Falls. If a city has a thrift store, we will go to it!
I have been lucky enough to find that when a website has the correct html and css tags, it is easier to design and organize. If the html is given the correct values and is ordered in the content, when it comes to doing the CSS, it will all line up. I learned this mostly during the CSS Zen Garden exercise, in which we did not have to write the HTML. This allowed me to see what good HTML looks like so that I can model my page to make it easy to style.
I also learned that PHP is possibly the most powerful tool of all. Hopefully, this entire page will be built using PHP commands that will organize data for me. It is much easier to tell the server what to do than to do it all myself. PHP is simply a set of instructions that allows me to do most things. It shortens the process of web page building and gives me time to take my wife to a movie. I will continue to develop my PHP skills because it is going to make me a more effective worker in the job field.
