I am into sports. I have spent my entire life trying to be involved. I played many sports growing up, but my involvement has grown as I have: I have become a referee and an umpire, I have lead a sports marketing group and I am writing as an intern for KSL.com covering the Utah State Aggies football and men's basketball teams.
It's important to realize that many people say they are into sports, but I feel that my life is more then that. I have become a student of sports. I study and understand the rules, I want to learn the business of sports. I have spent time reading articles that have nothing to do with my teams just to learn what being a sports writer is about. I have attended the MLB Winter Meetings and met with some important people. I am into
I think the most important thing that I have learned is that design is probably not my thing, but I know it is valuable information to have. I know that one day, I might just be called upon to create a webpage or simply edit one and knowing how might just get me a job or a better one.
In this class I've also learned how to organize things a bit better then I have in the past, especially with my computer files. I hvae learned that organization can make or break a website and that most website problems can be because of being unorganized. These are the things that I have taken away the most from this class.
